Monty Oum, animator at Rooster Teeth and creator of RWBY has passed away. He was a massive inspiration for myself, and I’m sure the same applies to a countless number of other people. Were it not for him, I would never have delved into the world of 3D art and animation. It’s amazing to me how much he has accomplished in his life, especially at such a young age; from making independent projects such Haloid, working at Midway Games, and then on to working at Rooster Teeth on Red vs Blue and RWBY. He worked day in and day out to bring us some of the best content on the Internet, often times working hours that the majority of us would consider insane. He will be dearly missed.
